About

Listening to Sydney songwriter Haley Holgate feels like reading a diary you weren’t meant to find. Her writing is confessional and direct, but there’s a shift in her new work, less about sitting in the feeling, more about pulling it apart and deciding what stays. Known for her clean-cut lyricism and vocals that hit you where it hurts, Haley’s earlier work held a quiet warmth. On her upcoming project, that warmth starts to turn. The songs are more pointed, more questioning, tracing the moment where trust breaks and something harder takes its place.
